Terms and Conditions
Tap4Treasure hunts are primarily offered as fun and engaging puzzles. Although a financial reward is offered to participants who submit a successful claim for a T4T Hunt according to Mission Level Details* (see below), the completion is designed to be educational and rewarding even without this element.
To participate in a T4T hunt is taken as an acknowledgement and acceptance of these and the following Terms and Conditions.
T4T hunts are open to all participants. However, no reward can be claimed by a participant under 18 years of age. Winner may be required to submit valid identification before receiving his prize.
Participants agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and laws. T4T hunts are currently fully armchair, meaning there is no physical object hidden to go retrieve at some secreted location in order to claim the cash prize.
T4T is not responsible for any electronic delay, fault or error that may delay a player’s participation.
No compensation can be sort, or filed, against T4T, or any supportive organization, for any loses, financial, material and/or subjective that is believed to be created by participating with any of the T4T treasure hunts.
The reward for any specific prize can only be claimed once. The person receiving the cash prize will be sent the prize electronically via PayPal. If the winner does not have a PayPal account, a check will be mailed to participant to the address provided by participant.
To correctly claim the reward, a participant must submit a solution to T4THQ@tap4treasure.com.
There will be NO notification of incorrect claims.
Notification of a correct claim will be posted on the T4T Website and other T4T social media channels.
T4T will publish the names of the winners on the T4T website. T4T may require a photo of each winner. On the receipt of this image, the participant agrees to allow T4T to use the photograph in any marketing material and through any media method of presentation.
T4T decisions are final and no correspondence regarding that decision will be entered into.
T4T reserves the right to suspend or terminate the treasure hunt, and/or to amend these terms and conditions. By entering the competition, you agree to accept these terms and conditions.
T4T is committed to protecting the privacy of our site visitors and customers and we treat all your personal information as confidential as described in these Terms and Conditions.
T4T accepts no responsibility or liability for any claim, loss, damage, injury or inconvenience whatsoever, however sustained or caused, as a result of participating in any of T4T Treasure Hunts.
By taking part in the Treasure Hunt, participants, and anyone accompanying a participant, or given a copy of all or part of any relevant material provided by T4T, to do so entirely at their own risk and entertainment.
* Mission Levels:
COPPER LEVEL MISSIONS:
All Agents identifying the drop site in time will be entered into a Random Drawing from all correct submissions received at T4THQ before a specific time. Current Award level is $50.
STEEL LEVEL MISSIONS:
You’ve got to be tough for these. An award will be given to the First Agent to identify the drop site.
PLATINUM LEVEL MISSIONS:
Only for the best of the best. This is where it gets really tough, and you may have to hit the streets. But the rewards are worth it.
